Centre Administrator

Centre Administrators are responsible for numbers, keys and lists. If you have experience in

administration and you have very good excel skills – this is your chance! As a reliable person with

good communication skills you need to have some patience and ability to focus. Together with the

Centre Manager and the Programme Organizer you are one of the management team members with

clearly designated responsibilities for the whole summer season.

 

Your tasks: 

• Administrative and organizational tasks

• Management of a cash account and responsibility for saving receipts

• Usage of data which is relevant for the running of the centre in terms of planning accommodation and meals

• Room allocation in accordance to customers´ requests

• Providing the suppliers and line managers with adequate numbers of students regarding meals and accommodation for invoicing reasons

• Preparing welcome packs and printed materials for changeovers

• Keeping head office informed regarding accommodation requirements

• Liaising with Accommodation Officers and other relevant personnel

• Controlling budgets and reporting to line-managers

• Checking rooms on departure and reporting damage immediately

• Administrative supervision tasks, responsible for the necessary supervision documentation

• Supporting the Centre Manager regarding complaint management from the individual clients and groups on site

 

Your profile:

• Availability from 15/06/2020 until 30/08/2020

• Min. 7 weeks (preferably longer)

• You are part of the long-term management team

• Very good English language skills

• Very good language skills of the language spoken in the destination

• Work experience in tourism or in other commercial fields (internships, apprenticeship, etc.) and basic understanding of commercial matters

• Very good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)

• Flexible, reliable, good communication skills, able to use initiative, able to work under pressure and independently, good organisational skills, sense of responsibility

 

Conditions of Service:

• Payment: 225,00 GBP weekly

• Full-board accommodation

• First Aid Certificate (8 hours, not older than 2 years)

• Police clearance certificate (not older than 1 year)

• Safeguarding training completed

 

Pre-Conditions:

• Successful participation in our online Assessment Centre for management positions the 2nd and 3rd May 2020

• Successful participation in our online Management Training the 9th and 10th May 2020

• Availability and participation in the Destination Training in the Summer Centre
