Centre Manager

Reports to: Operations Manager Summer

As a Centre Manager you are responsible for the overall running of the camp life. If you already have

some experience in leadership and if you are available for the whole summer season, this could be

the right job for you. No matter if you work in Germany, France or England, we require you to maintain

the highest standards of customer service in every department at the summer camp. For each

country, you are required to have fluent language skills, both written and spoken. The job of a Centre

Manager is a big challenge and could be a great opportunity for you to gain a lot management

experience this summer!

 

Your tasks:

• Overall running of the language centre

• Quality assurance in the language centre

• Responsibility for the general look of the centre

• Team management with daily team meetings

• Delegating tasks and monitoring the team’s work

• Running welcome meetings with our customers

• Customer relationship management

• Complaint management and taking immediate action on all complaints

• Organisational tasks in the camp

• Reporting to “Head Office” and line managers

• Immediate reporting of any damage in the centre

• Cooperation with partners within the destination

 

Your profile:

• Availability from 15/06/2020 until 30/08/2020

• Minimum 7 weeks (preferable longer stay)

• You are the head of the long-term management team

• Very good English language skills

• Good language skills of the language spoken in the destination (French, German, English)

• Clear understanding of the concept of customer service in tourism

• Clear understanding of the company standards regarding customer service and quality assurance

• Experience of leading an international team

• Team management capability

• Good organisational and time-management skills, ability to work independently and under pressure

 

Conditions of service:

• Payment: 350,00 GBP weekly

• Full-board accommodation

• First Aid Certificate (8 hours, not older than 2 years)

• Police clearance certificate (not older than 1 year)

• Safeguarding training completed

 

Pre-Conditions:

• Successful participation in our online Assessment Centre for management positions the 2nd and 3rd May 2020

• Successful participation in our online Management Training the 9th and 10th May 2020

• Availability and participation in the Destination Training in the Summer Centre
